Bamboo species of Nagaland

This species of Bamboo called ‘maa’ in Konyak dialect is used to make the finest strands for weaving. What is also interesting is the Internode length as it can reach more than 4 feet.

One of the strongest bamboo I have encountered is the slender species available in the indomyanmar border in the district of Mon. We are blessed with rich natural Resources and the only thing we need is to wake up from our slumber and start making each and every day productive. Heaven is a place on Earth.
